While this investment turned out well I personally believe it was one of my most foolish investments I have made. This is because when making this investment I did not do as much technical research as I should have and went into it with the mind set gambling on momentum ignoring many of the technical patterns. While many may say it is a bad investment due to the fundaments which I would argue your right this was not an investment where I focused on the fundaments.

AMDApril 27, 2020$57.44 April 30, 2020$52.77
This investment was a short term technical analysis investment which did not pay off. However with that being said I feel I made the right move in cutting my losses of early and moving on so I could make money in another deal rather than letting my emotions take over.

AAPLApril 30, 2020$290.99 June 26, 2020$358.80
This investment was a fundaments investment and while successful in making money it taught me the valuable lesson in holding forever. As Warren Buffett would say ” If you don’t feel comfortable owning a stock for 10 years, you shouldn’t own it for 10 minutes.” In essence I felt I could make more money at the moment investing using a technical analysis strategy which while I probably did make a bit more using this strategy during this year alone it is many times more simple and easy to invest using fundaments as-well as being safer in the long run in my opinion. It should also be noted I was heavily carried by the upward momentum of the market, which I recognized however this strong of a bull-market rarely happens so I believe I am better of to getting into the habit of using the fundaments view for gaining better long term profits.

MVISMay 5, 2020$1.68September 4, 2020$1.471
This investment was a short term technical investment which did not play out in the way I viewed so I decided to cut my losses and move onto something that could make me potentially money instead of potentially taking a much stronger loss.

LSPDMay 27, 2020$35.00September 1, 2020$47.55
This investment was a swing trade which panned out quite well and it is one I am quite proud of as I felt I did everything right, from analyzing the technical patterns extensively, to acting quickly on the deal. The one thing I noticed I improved is how I had developed no emotions towards my the deals I was making become emotionless which I was not completely during the beginning.

This was a fundaments investment which panned out well and I felt I did right from analyzing properly by buying in a good margin of safety I greatly narrowed down my potentially of loosing money. On top of that I got a nice dividend around 7% which I did not show above.

ONEMAugust 6, 2020$30.64August 14, 2020$29.81
This investment was a technical play and while the patten I saw did play out I did not want to risk loosing money as losses are hard to earn back and I feel by cutting my losses early I end up gaining more consistent profits instead of volatile profits which I prefer.

LCAAugust 24, 2020$15.21September 1, 2020$14.94
The was a technical play, however it was the first time I had do a technical play on a SPAC. While this did seem like a good technical trade at first a few days later the patten changed symbolizing the potential for a more bearish outlook which occurred not long after. Overall it was not a bad bet at first and I as I have learned before it is best to get out and cut losses if you feel it will get worse as patterns often change or just don’t always play out when using a technical analysis strategy.

JNUGSeptember 22, 2020$139.47September 23, 2020$125.87
This investment was one of the most dumb investments I have ever done as shown by the loss. The big lesson I learned here is to never trade or buy anything that uses margin or a fund that is on margin as in the long run it is exponentially hard to make consistent profits and while you may make lots at first you can get killed in a very short period of time.

PSTHNovember 30, 2020$26.67January 8, 2021$27.66
This was a technical swing trade which while it played out making me 3.71% over a few months, I made the mistake of not taking profits quickly enough and moving onto better opportunities which a greater change of making money essentially sucking my thumb.

This again was a technical swing trade where I should have sold earlier and taken the money as there was better opportunities where I would have made more. On top of that I was up more earlier. However everything in hindsight seems like I could have done this better so I would say its still a success.

IPOBDecember 7, 2020$23.05December 14, 2020$26.036
This was a very success technical investment where I ended up taking what I learned before for how SPACS can move and applied what I learned to this investment as there is many nitty gritty pattens I noticed that were specific to SPACs only as-well as running with my profits earlier on. Overall I made 12.95% over a period of 7 days.

This was meant to be a quick swing trade however I decided to pull out at a small loss due to the likelihood the patten showed me there was a chance the upside was coming to an end which came true, however if I had held on I would have made a bit of money.

This was a technical investment where I combined the MACD and RSI together to confirm price momentum as well as other indicators and patterns. This was also the first time I had traded a single stock more than once. Through this I recognized it can be beneficial as you are less likely to make mistakes as you better understand how that stock trades.

Using what I learned from trading a company more than one time, I decided to repeat those lessons. When I was trading on this stock I was betting on momentum, using many indicators to back up that logic. Unfortunately I can’t remember them. The big advantage you can get by trading one company multiple times is you get to recognize how that specific stock trades making you more accurate. However in my case before I would day trade, or swing trade any stock I would always analyze that stocks patten to lessen the errors I would make increasing my profits. However I find once you have been though it once you can reflect on your mistakes lessen on the mistakes you made the first time trading or you just get a better understanding of the patten.

While I did not necessarily learn anything new one thing I have noticed is how much more consistent I have become with making my returns. One thing I have done to get these results is to focus on a specific strategy such as momentum strategy and not to try to focus on multiple strategies. Though this I found myself getting better results most likely due to my analysis being more accurate. It’s sort of like the difference between extreme multitasking vs just focusing on one thing. For some multitasking works better but for me focusing on one thing I tend to be more effective.

Though all the experience I had gained with making day trades to swing trades I had decided to focus on a small cap company which I felt had the potential to gain a significant about of momentum. While I could have held on the whole time I did not and decided to make multiple trades and did not want to risk loosing big if bad news was announced over a weekend since this was a biotech company. While I did slightly believe they would realize positive news I did not account on the upside of the positive news. Though trying to analyze the stock I looked at many patterns which I will not list here as otherwise this write up would be over 1000 words long. However I will say I used both a pullback trading strategies ,
,breakout trading strategies and momentum trading strategies.
